Thanks Everyone

Hello,

First, I want to thank all of my followers for listening to my rambles. Like, I have said, I started this blog because my friends were so interested in my stories about being abroad (really only the men). I wanted to encourage other women, primarily black women, that you can go anywhere you want to go and date anyone. This has already been a great outlet for me and I really enjoy hearing your questions and comments.

Thanks

Love

  2. Hey!

I just found out about your blog through another blooger's website and I love it! I loved your Angelo story...reminded me of my times abroad through out the years!

I was also wondering what you do in terms of your job and how you landed your position with your company? After spending some time abroad I am getting ready to start my job search and I would really like to start work with an international company or a company that would allow me to travel.

You can email me at: travel123love@gmail.com with any advice, answers or pertinent information I can use for my job search!!!

Keep up the good work and stories!

  3. Hey Swirler,

I saw that your blog was recommended by another blogger and I love it! I know your still in the early stages, but I loved your Angelo story, def reminded me of the fun times I had abroad through out the years!

Also, what does your job entail and how were you able to land such a position? I'm staring my career after some time abroad and I would love to work for a international company that would allow me to travel or even relocate to Europe after a couple of years. You can email me at: travel123love@gmail.com with any other information!

Keep up the good work and good luck with the new job!

Thanks for reading. I was an intern for a company in college. The company offered me a position after college, but I declined because I wanted to travel. My boss knew of a company that was expanding its international ties and that's how I got this position. I work basically as an liaison for my company, in that I close deals, negotiate, and establish new business.

I also would recommend focusing on the larger companies who are aggressively seeking business ties to foreign markets (Shell, Viacom, etc) look for positions that apply to your specific job talents.
